People are unreliable predictors of their own behaviour. In interviews, they often describe what they think they should do, what they hope to do, or what they believe we want to hear. Similarly, validating AI by measuring model accuracy doesn't tell whether a solution will actually work in practice. The real question is whether people follow recommendations, adapt them, or ignore them altogether — and whether they know when not to trust the AI.
In the AI Adoption Lab, experiments are designed to observe what people actually do when AI shows up in their workflow — not what they say they would do in interviews. If behaviour doesn’t change, value doesn’t exist.
AI Adoption Approach
AI Adoption Lab experiments are lightweight, fast, and grounded in real work. They are designed to answer one question - Does this solution change behaviour in a way that creates value?
Find out why your people follow some recomendations but not others
Identify where AI is helping, and where it is creating friction.
Make it easy for people to flag errors, and take over when AI gets it wrong
Example Experiments
How to build next best action recommendations that staff will trust and follow.
How to encourage staff to make optimal choices, without removing their autonomy and decision making.
